CAN YOU CONVERT MY EXISTING MANUAL ROLLER SHUTTERS TO ELECTRIC? Yes, in many cases we can convert existing manually operated roller shutters to electric operation. We’ll assess your existing shutters to make sure they’re suitable for conversion and provide you with a quote for the required motor and electrical components. A Wi-Fi hub option is also available with compatible electric shutters, allowing you to control them from your smart device.
CAN YOU QUOTE ROLLER SHUTTERS FROM HOUSE PLANS? Yes, we can provide a quote from your house plans. Simply send us your plans showing the window measurements, along with the rooms or windows you’d like roller shutters on, and we can work out a quote for you. If you’re unsure about anything, just send through the plans and we’ll be happy to help.
DO ROLLER SHUTTERS BLOCK OUT 100% LIGHT? Roller shutters can significantly reduce the amount of light entering your home, but they may not block 100% of light. When fully closed, they provide excellent light reduction and privacy. A small amount of light may still enter around the edges of the shutter, depending on the installation and window.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IN REVEAL AND ON WALL INSTALLATION? The main difference is where the roller shutter is fitted. An in-reveal installation fits the shutter within the window reveal, while an on-wall installation fits the shutter over the outside of the window, covering the reveal. The best option will depend on your window and the look you prefer.
DO YOU REPAIR EXISTING ROLLER SHUTTERS? Yes, we repair existing roller shutters. Whether your shutter is not operating correctly, has a problem with the motor or controls, or needs general repairs, we can assess the issue and provide you with a quote for the required work.
HOW LONG DOES INSTALLATION TAKE? Our installation timeframe is generally between 2–6 weeks from the time your order is confirmed. We always aim to have your roller shutters installed as soon as possible and will keep you informed throughout the process. Please note that timeframes can vary depending on weather conditions, busy periods, manufacturing and availability.
